MISSION

South Point UMC is a mission-minded church. Last year, we contributed over $10,000 to local, national and international mission through the United Methodist Church

Our youth do mission projects once a month and go on a mission trip once a year. Our United Methodist Men and Women do mission projects during the year, which include supporting the Belmont Community Organization (BCO) and Habitat for Humanity.

Of course, many of our members participate individually in our community. Some are mentors for children and youth. Some work in Soup Kitchens. Many care for elderly, sick and bereaved. Living out our call to mission is very important to us at South Point.

From the Pastor

On behalf of South Point United Methodist Church, we invite you to visit and participate in our worship and ministry opportunities. We are a church committed to welcoming people to a relationship with Jesus Christ, encouraging them as they grow as a Christian, and enabling them, in turn, to be in ministry in the world.

At South Point, we are finding that through personal and group Bible study, dynamic biblical preaching, celebratory worship, and warm fellowship, these needs are being met. We look forward to meeting you and enjoying worshipping and growing together.
